: (1) A person who meets the following qualifications shall be eligible to be appointed to the post of Inspection Officer:-
(a) Passed at least a bachelor's degree in any subject or working in a gazetted official position of at least third grade in any service of the Government of Nepal, but if special knowledge of a subject is required, should have at least a bachelor's degree in such a subject.
(b) Received at least thirty days of training from a recognized institution in matters related to determining and testing the quality of goods or services or law, justice or criminal investigation.
(2)-Despite anything written in sub-rule (1), an officer employed in the Nepal Justice Service or an officer who has at least six months of work experience in a department and under the office at the time of commencement of this regulation or in a government agency that performs activities related to the investigation and investigation of crimes in accordance with the prevailing law. will be considered eligible to work as an officer.
